I was only about 22 and I was looking for something to do and I got to Koh Samui, and I thought, ‘Oh, this would be good, I’ll learn Thai Foot Massage’. Well, it wasn't just Thai Foot Massage, it was also Thai Massage, and we had these two old people on Koh Samui (I think they were old - they had wrinkled skin, and to me, everything was old), and they couldn't speak a word of English. They taught me by practical demonstration how to do different moves, and it was amazing. At that time, I took loads of pictures and for the rest of my time abroad, which was for three years, I carried on doing it.
